NANO24 Conference

On Thursday, the 25th of January 2024, we will celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the Applied Nanotechnology research group at Saxion. This afternoon we will organize NANO24, an inspiring network event for anyone interested in applied nanotechnology research.

The program offers a number of inspiring speakers that will explain the various application areas of nanotechnology:

  • Alexander Brinkman (University of Twente, Nano-meets-Quantum)
  • Paul Vulto (Mimetas, Leiden, Organ-on-chip technologies)
  • Marcel de Puit (NFI, Nano-meets-Forensics)
  • Karin Schroen (WUR, Nano-meets-AgriFood)
  • Anka Mulder (Saxion, importance of applied research in addressing societal challenges)
  • Sylwester Latkowski (PITC, TU/e, Nano-meets-Photonics)
  • Ivan Stojanovic (Oost NL, Opportunities for applied research in strengthening the Dutch economy)

The program will be chaired by Hans Hilgenkamp, professor at the University of Twente and scientific director of the MESA+ Institute of Nanotechnology (starting February 1st, 2024).

Furthermore we will have a project market where you can discuss with our researchers about the interesting projects that we are currently running. And of course there is ample time for networking, meeting colleagues and making new contacts.
